At direct compounding, powder such as additives or pigments with pellet resin and, it may be difficult to disperse uniformly due to segregation.
By preparing the powder resin in advance, it becomes easy to manufacture a master batch in which powdered additives are uniformly dispersed in the compound with high concentration.
